How Long Will It Take To Heal Constant Nagging Pain In Elbow And Rear After Taking Cortisone Injection?

i have had pain in my elbow front and rear for eight months.gone from extreme pain lifting a mug to constant nagging pain which keeps me awake.I have been booked in for cortisone injection.how long should it be before I return to normal duties,I do a lot of lifting.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the tennis elbow,if cortisone injections are given also it is not continuous,either monthly or fort nightly. still you may have to avoid weight bearing with that hand.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically along with pain killers.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. When there is pain.
