How Long Will It Take For Ramipril To Clear Out Of System?

Hi, I have been taking ramipril for hbp for ten months now. After my doctor increased my dosage 2 months ago (10mg twice a day) I developed an extremely itchy , pigmented rash, mainly on my legs. It is now starting to spread to my thighs and arms. I stopped taking the ramipril 4 data ago and I don t see much improvement. How long does it take for a drug to clear out of your system? If there are new spots forming, doe s this mean it isn t a drug reaction? Thanks

You have developed a rash from taking Ramipril. This is a very common problem with this medication and will cause a rash. this rash may last for several days and is not really dependent on the length of time the medication is in the system. It is more dependent on your bodies response to allergies. This rash will be there for about a week or more.

The ramipril will also take about a full week to get completely out of your system.
