How Long Will Rabies Vaccine Be Effective?
Hi, My father was effected by dog bite on March 2016 and took complete vaccination by April 2016. Again today ( 02/11/2016) scratched by money, got two drops of blood also. Does he need to vaccination again or the old one is still effective. Regards, Vamshi

No need to worry
After complete vaccination, reinforcing doses of Rabies vaccination are generally required every 2-5 years.
It should be reported that adequate immunity will last for 5 years following full course of vaccination.
As you had take vaccine just before 6 months, now no rabies vaccination is required.
