with the prescription of my doctor i am taking golbi 300 from 24th october for mymultiple galdbludder stone how long i will continue the medicine still now iam having this, can the stones completely disolved with this medicine
Golbi 300 is a medication containing Ursodiol which is a bile salt. This does assist in the breakdown of gallstones. This medication typically is taken for a period of several months or longer in order to see maximal benefit. From what I have seen most symptoms of gallstones seemed to resolve by about the 3 month mark of taking this medication but some patients did take longer to see symptom resolution. The stones generally did not completely dissolve with this medication from what I have seen but they did decrease in size substantially.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
