How Long Should Prednisone Be Taken For Serum Sickness?
I have had serum sickness from bactrim in the past few days, but am now feeling much better, and the hives are disappearing. Can I stop the prednisone now, after four days of treatment? I can t sleep well on this drug, and the doctor advised me to stay on it for five days before stopping. I ve been taking 60 mg once a day.

I think you can stop it since you are feeling better. You don't need to taper it of gradually since you were taking it for such a short time only 4 days. Just stop it since you don't have symptoms anymore.
