dear sir, i am mallikarjuna i am 37yrs i am suffering from ulcerative coloits since from last 2 years i am takeing azoran 100mg and mesocal 800mg right now i dont have digestive problems, now i am suffering from sugar 237 and 325g. shall i continue takeing azoran 100mg and mesocal 800mg please guide.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of a 37 years old male suffering from ulcerative colitis for the last 2 years, taking Azoran and Mesocol. Have no digestive problems, the sugar is raised to 237 and 325. This means now you have developed diabetes. I would advise you the following: Get the HbA1c and other tests for diagnosis of the severity of the problems, get it controlled first so that you get better. About the medications you talked about- the Mesocol and Azoran, you have to follow the instruction of the Doctor who started it as this is a matter which is evaluated by the clinical evaluation, and tests that your Doctor will be most aware of. Personally speaking I am most worried about your diabetes.
