How Long Post Upper Endoscopy Can Medications For Spinal Injury Be Taken?
I regularly & daily have to take Tramadol 100mg and 10mg Cyclobenzaprine(or 2mg Tizanidine) for spinal injury. I had upper endoscopy performed today at 9:30am EST. How soon can I take these regular meds after having Propofol as my anesthesia? If there is a number of hours I should wait or a specific time that is ok.
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
We recommend 4 hours period network wakening and oral intake so this should be enough unless anesthesiologist recommended something else because of specific circumstances.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
