How Long Ischemic Stroke And Paralyzed Patient Take To Recover?

Dear Doctor, I need your help and consultation for my mother. Her age is 62 years. On 20th April 2010 she was admitted to hospital. She suffered an ischemic stroke and she is paralysed on her left side (hemiplegia). Her CT and MRA scan revealed that her Internal Carotid Artery on the right side is totally blocked and also some smaller blockages in other locations. Additionally she had hypertension as well as hypotension since last 10 years or so. She is not diabetic. On 8th May she was discharged from hospital. Right now she is at home and we are taking her care at home. We are having her physiotherapy done once a day daily by a physiotherapist. She is taking following medicines. Losar-25, Ecosprin 150, Hosit, Atorva 20mg, Lanol, Shelcal, Novasource Peptide protein powder She has sever body aches, especially on every joints of bone, specifically the bone on the lower end of spine, hip bones, left shoulder joint, both elbows, left knee, left ankle. We are feeding her liquid diet. I wanted to know whether the treatment going on is right. Looking into her current symptoms does it look like a risk or recurrence of further strokes. How long it may take her to recover. Please advise
