How Long Does Oxaliplatin And 5 FU Chemo Remain In The Body?
How long does oxiliplatin chemo and 5 FU chemo remain in the body after treatment is finished. My husband has colon cancer and finished his chemo the end of February. We are curious to know howl long these drugs remain in his system. Thanks for your help

The Chemotherapeutic drugs leave your body within few hours after being given. But the side effects of the drug takes about 6 months to vanish from your body. The effect is monitered while follow up check ups. So please don't worry, be regular in follow ups.
