How Long Does Numbness On Fingers Take To Heal?

Hi, i about a week ago today my thumb got smashed in a locked car door. Its still a bit sore and im able to move my thumb around but cant blend it properly. My thumb nail is raised and very bruised, blood had also came rushing to the tip on my thumb (your able to see it under the skin). It feels numb yet the tip on my thumb feels like a tingling sensation When touched . Will the feeling in my thumb come back? And if so how long does it take?

After going through your query I concluded that you got injury to your thumb. It got smashed in car get. You got Hematoma under the skin and have numbness. I think hematoma will gradually will heal. No need to worry much . Numbness will take nearly one and half months to resolve. Sensation will nearly become normal gradually. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken for pain relief.
