How Long Does Cough Due To Respiratory Syncytial Virus Remain Contagious?

I was told that my aunt has or had AFB. I am assuming it was negative for TB because she is off of isolation. Can the bacterium if still present (coughing is still vicious) still contain a contagious strain. She is no longer receiving antibiotics. In addition, she has a resolved RSV. She is 87 years old. Thank you, Denise Richardson
