How Long Does An Anti Rabies Shot Remain Effective?
hello Doc, my son and I was bitten by our dog last June 2017.. we were both given an anti rabies shot. this month, my son was bitten again by the same dog. does my son need to be given again an anti rabies vaccine? the reason I asked this because I m afraid he might get over dose by anti rabies vaccine. BTW, our dog has been completed the anti rabies vaccine. please help.

even after complete vaccination doses it is known that after a fresh dog bite followed by post immunisation it is beneficial to give 2 doses at least to be safe as far as my opinion it is better to give 2 doses minimum to be sure
