Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Long Does An Allergic Reaction To Myrbetriq Last?
I had an allergic reaction to myrebetriq after taking it almost 3 months, the doctor stopped the myrebetriq and started something else. Should I wait the 8-10 days before starting the new Medication? Since it takes that long for my body to rid it of the myrebetriq.
Myrbetriq is composed of 'Mirabegron', which is a medication for the treatment of overactive bladder. The terminal elimination half-life (t1/2) of this medication is approximately 50 hours.
In case you need to wait, you can wait for about 24 to 36 hours, by which most of the medication would have been eliminated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
