How Long Does Xanax Remain In The Body?
a buddy of mines girlfriend took a xanex, she is trying to figure out how long it takes to get out of her system, she has a prescription for them and takes them on the regular dose. She is about to get out of the military and the job she is going after requires a clean test, they have advised her she can continue her regular prescription after the testing is done.

Hello and thank you for your question. If she has been taking it regularly it can take up to 30 days to get out of her system. It also depends upon the dose, higher doses take longer. It is not a drug that is safe to stop abruptly, she needs to be tapered off of it under medical supervision.
