How Long Does THC Remain In The Fetus During Pregnancy?
Hello I am 32 weeks pregnant. I was a very heavy marijuana smoker and I quit one month ago so at like 28 or 29 weeks pregnant I quit. I know it was wrong but It helped with morning sickness. My doctor told me today I tested positive for cannabinods and I am so so worried my baby will test positive even though I quit 4 weeks ago. I feel terrible. I am due may 8th. I am wondering if my baby will test positive and be taken from me or if he will be clean? Thank you.
Cannabis or weed is usually detectable in bodily fluids for 1 to 30 days after last use. As with other drugs, it may be detectable in hair for several months.
For daily users, cannabis may be detectable for several months after last use. The longest-reported detection times are more than 90 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
