How Long Does Olmetra Take To Lower High BP?

I have high blood pressure where the systole is average 174 and the diastole app 60 . I have been taking stamlobeta single tablet for several years but now I have been advised olmetra 20 along with the same since the past week. My B.P is now 160/50. Show long do I have to take the new tablet and why such a huge difference in the systole and diastole

Hello
You are advised to take olemartan 20 mg along stamlobeat .
Now your blood pressure is 160/50 mm of Hg.
Systolic blood pressure is due to contraction of heart ,while diastolic ( lower ) is due to dilatation of heart .
Normally this difference is 40-50 but in your case this is pretty high so this is a cause of concern .
There are so many reasons of such difference and may be due to cardiomyopathy or left ventricular hypertrophy . So in my opinion consult a cardiologist ans sort out this problem .
Because you are taking anti hypertensive drugs for several years so we can't rule out abnormal efficiency of heart ejection period .
Olemartan 'Steady-state levels of olemsartan are achieved within 3-5 days and no accumulation in plasma occurs with once daily dosing.
Good luck.
But consult with a cardiologist is important for you.
