How Long Does Methamphetamine Stay In A Pregnant Woman S Body?

I m 34 weeks and have been smoking meth. I have taken my vitamins , and folic acid, and fish oil through out my whole pregnancy. I ve stayed hydrated, and have kept a healthy diet of all food groups. If I quit now, how can I ensure my child will test clean ?

Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. As you are already in your last trimester thus your baby already has suffered from the consequences of Meth. inside the womb as such in best interest it is wise to search for hospital/clinic which is authorized/ experienced in detoxifying pregnant patients

2. since your baby might be born preterm or smaller than expected for his/her gestational age thus start the procedure as I.P.D. [in patient department] so that specialist can manage you the best in case any withdrawal effects occur.

All the best.
