How Long Does Flucloxacillin Take To Cure Skin Infection?

Hi, I have a skin infection and was prescribed a 5 day course of flucloxacillin to treat the bacterial infection. I am on my second day, breaking third and there still is no improvement. What is the next step? I know I have to finish my course, but if there is still no improvement, what next?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if no improvement is there then this may not be bacterial infection but this could be steroid responsive skin and it is most advisable to add "Mometasone" cream for local application and some time may need oral steroid too but for that you need to be eligible for this and better to have word with doctor, hope this information helps, take care.
