How Long Does Fentanyl Patch Take To Show Effect?
How long does it take for Fentanyl Patch to take effect ? I have lung cancer and up until yesterday I tool 40mg of OPANA 40mg. My insurance company (BCBS) has said they will no longer cover the OPANA. But did make my doctor change to this medication. I retired from the Substance Abuse Field after 31 years. So you know my concerns. My pain is at a 9 currently.

Fentanyl patch may start to work 24 hours after inserting it. You should wait for 24 hours for your pain to gradually get reduced.
