How Long Do The Side Effects Of Acetaminophen And Codeine Last?

How long before side effects end when taking acetaminophen plus codeine? I had 2 teeth extracted on Monday, and I have experienced all the side effects today. I took the medication 4 times yesterday but not today at all. I just now vomited and that made me feel a little better, but my stomach is still upset and I can barely force myself to eat anything.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain half life of Acetaminophen is about 2-3 hours and around the same for Codeine and both of there are about almost completely excreted via urine in about 24 hours or one day..

So as you have not taking any medication today, the symptoms will start getting better in another 24 hours, however to relieve the symptoms you might need to take supportive medications like Ondensarton for vomiting and Pantoprazole if you have acidity..

Also take soft and light meals, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and heavy meals and take appropriate rest..
Take more of probiotics like Yogurt..
