I have been taking post exposure treatment for HIV how long do I have to wait to get tested after finishing the treatment ?

Although there have been recent advances in the test done for HIV so people are doing it in 6-8 weeks also but still as HIV is a slow invading virus please get a test done only after the incubation period of 6 months so that you will get a better idea.Also keep in mind it is not necessary that you can get HIV just with in a single exposure but care and precaution is very necessary.
