How Long Diet Restriction Be Followed After A Laparoscopic Appendectomy?
Hi, My daughter,aged 14 had a laproscopic appendectomy 5 days ago,she was on a bland diet for all these days,doc said non veg is not allowed.For how many days should I do this? Traditionally,old women say minced meat helps in healing the sutures.Is that right? Can I give her minced meat or fish?

usually for laproscopic operations the restrictions are for very few days
usually 5-7 days.
suture healing will take on its own gradually.
as of now give her good balanced food.
avoid non veg
