How Long Can I Survive With 100% Blockage Of Coronary Artery?

I had MI in April. An Angiogram in June confirmed 100% blockage of coronary artery (on the right) and 50% on one on the left. Scar tissue (and no collateral supply to lower right section). Managing with ACE and Beta blockers and lifestyle. Deeply believe in God. What are the chances of a survival and how long?

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello, The majority of death due to heart attack happens in the first few hours, so if you have survived that period, you have passed that phase - so no acute harm will do that, but because your heart muscles has been replaced by scar - there is possibility of your heart in functioning less and may be difficult to do your daily activity in future. So survival period is as long as a normal person, unless you get another heart attack. With your lifestyle changes and medication and some precaution to prevent further attack - you can enjoy your life. Belief in God is of utmost importance - keep doing that.
