General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Montral tablet blocks allergy reaction by causing relaxation of bronchial muscles &also combats inflammation of respiratory tract due to allergy. It needs to be given for prescribed time, while anti allergy drugs cure temporary allergy. As the child got symptoms after skipping a dose. He needs to continue the medicine, till the allergen is identified &avoided or desensitized. Consult an allergy specialist for more specific advise after investigations.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
