Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Desonate is a brand name of the drug desonide. It is a low potency steroid used topically with minimal side effects. However prolonged use is not recommended and more than one month use is not good. The fascial puffiness could not be attributed to the cream. It could be due to low proteins. If the rashes are still there, consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
