Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Noted your history of bleeding esophagus and taking Dexilant that is Dexlansoprazole. This is a PPI and can be taken for one and half month. You can certainly shift over to Omeprazole as it is also a PPI and works fine. Most important is the review Upper GI Endoscopy o see the status of stomach and esophagus. Get a proper additional treatment of antacid, Domperidone as needed. Take precaution about what you eat and drink. No tobacco in any form. Avoid too hot or too cold things to eat and drink.
