How Is Stent In Pancreatic Duct Inserted?

My pancreatic duct that releases enzymes to small bowel constricts and I am having a stent placed by my GI MD. can this duct be replaced like a bypass this my second time around with stent placement. I had pancreatitis in November last year and July 2014. Have always had this problem since a bililary cyst removal with a bypass placement in 9/1991.
