I haven t seen my boyfriend since his fathers development, but will see him tomorrow...what are my chances of contracting chicken pox via my boyfriend from living at his parents place? hello, thanks for asking this question.

Chickenpox is cause by herpes zoster viruses.
Your boyfriend father develop chickenpox that can spred by contact also.

Avoid direct Contact to chickenpox.
Presence of past history of chickenpox that not occur again because memory cell identity it and prevent recurrence.

Chickenpox spred via airborn droplet or direct contact with infectious lesion.

This is viral infection so regress automatically.

Take care.
