Both my fiance & I are properly diagnosed epileptics and I have a few questions about when those told that they are prone to Generalized Seizures and just a more specific form of seizures like my mother, who was also a properly diagnosed epileptic who only suffered from Grand-Mal seizures. 1. Can you experience 2 different types of seizures at the same time? (For Example: Only a combination an Absence & either a Myoclonic or a Clonic.) 2. Is actually such thing as a Petite-Mal seizure? - What are the diagnosed differences of a Petite & a Grand Mal seizures? 3. How do you tell the difference between a Myoclonic & a Clonic seizure? 4. Can an Absence seizure appear/present to as a random unprovoked sleeping spell. (For Example: Not due to as a side effect of any medication, lack of sleep, or sleep disorder.) 5. What type of seizures present as follows: - Only Random Staring Spells? (For Example: You appear as if to mentally check out, are seriously daydreaming, lost in deep thought but never appear to lose consciousness, & properly proven not to be due to mental illness or a side effect of any medications.) 6. What can cause Spontaneous Verbal Outbursts during Absence seizures? (For Example: While unconscious due to the seizure they appear to be having a Somnliloquy spell even though they do not suffer from that sleep disorder.)
