Hi, I was diagnosed with h pylori last year following tests taken after complaints of upper stomach pain. I took a reaction to the triple therapy (unsure which medication) where i my heart rate went to 160bpm. My treatment was therefore stopped after three days. I had no further treatment. Also at this time i was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. I've noticed more recently this has been playing up i.e. the minute i eat a large meal, my stomach starts to play up i.e. producing a lot of gas, etc (embarassing). I purchased Colofac at the chemist yesterday to try and reduce the embarassment of this problem, however when i took it this morning, prior to eating, all day now my stomach (upper) has been burning and very between my shoulder blades. I've also made an appointment for my own general practitioner on Monday. Please advise. I am 32 years old, 5 ft 7 inches and 10 stone 5 pounds. I would be anxious in nature, probably resulting in my IBS and ulcer.
