How Is HIV Infection Contracted?

Hey i recieved oral sex from a sex worker about 5 weeks ago. It lasted for a few minutes afterwords i felt guilty so i stoped the encounter. I am worried about hiv since this was my first exposure to sex with someone i dont know. What are the odds that i got hiv? I recently had a sore throat but it has been cured now.

Hello,

I think you had a risky exposure so you are at risk of contracting HIV.
You should get tested for STD immediately and undergo HIV prevention therapy.
