How I Can Improve My HB Level In Blood?

Hello Doctor, my age is 30, height 5ft, weight 70kg, in my 24 weeks pregnancy i have the HB level of 11.7Gm/dl & Now I am 33 weeks pregnant, my HB level is 8.7Gm/dl, Iam vegetarian, all ways iam feeling rest less, what should i do to increase the HB level & is this effect the fetus?

I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that pregnancy is the condition of hemodilution. So low haemoglobin is the possibility. To mitigate such effect it is necessary to start iron therapy before planning the pregnancy so hemodilution won't occur. In the current position I advice to take the oral iron therapy with due consultation from the GP doctors nearby to you.
