Hi, I had a laparoscopic appendectomy about 2 weeks ago. I haven t had any issues with my recovery so far and the incisions appear to be healing nicely. I play squash at a very high level, and I was told by the surgeons to not play for at least 4 weeks post-op. But I was wondering when I can resume other forms of training again, for example strength exercises using my body weight and hill or stair sprints (usually at a such a high intensity that I occasionally throw up). I have international tournaments coming up in 2 months and would like to start doing whatever training I can to be in form for them without putting my health or recovery at risk. What do you suggest?
