How Effective Is Maloxicam As A Pain Killer?
What type of pain killer is maloxicam? I always thought it was antiinflammatory. Is it stronger than Morphine Sulphate IR or it it more like Motrin? I m contemplating asking my Pain Care Dr. about it, because a friend thinks it might help, but I think I already take stronger meds. I m just looking for a little additional information on Meloxicam. Thank you.

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is used to treat inflammation and pain by acting on the pain mediators of the body.
However, its long term use is not advised due to its cardiovascular side effects.
Morphine is used for long-term pain control . However, dependence to it is a big problem. Morphine relieves pain better than meloicam.
Kindly consult your doctor before taking any more medications if you are already on analgesics.
