I had synvis shot in my knee 3 weeks ago and there has been no improvement. X-Rays showed arthritis What now? Should I consider cortisone shots? Age is 74. Had synvis shots 7 years ago and they worked, but not this time. Should I give it more time to work?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, before thinking about the steroid and other medicine better try something else and that is try to bear the pain as hard as you could once you reach the threshold of the pain you will be getting natural analgesic effect and that would be long lasting, else what the medicine you are thinking may not give you permanent remedy, second physiotherapy can be tried, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
