How Early After An Abortion Can One Conceive?
Hi, I have a question about pregnancy happening within days, less than a week, right after an abortion, also a question about post-term. Background: a woman got pregnant not by her husband and said she got an abortion a month later. She then told the father that she was impregnated by her husband within days right after the abortion. She gave birth 40 weeks later from that point, 43-44 weeks after she was impregnated the first time by the man not her husband. My question is, what are the chances that she could get pregnant right after an abortion that soon? And what are the chances that she could have gone post-term (never got the the abortion)? She is a nurse specializing in children s care, said she was on birth control, didn t want to get the abortion to begin with, and the child doesn t seem to resemble her husband at all. Having an abortion or miscarriage doesn’t affect fertility in most cases.
One can actually get pregnant just a few weeks after having an abortion or miscarriage, even if the period hasn't arrived yet.
This will depend on how far along the pregnancy was there before the abortion happened.
Earlier the abortion has happened, chances of conceiving again would also be early.
If the child doesn't resemble their parents, it would be better to take 'Paternity DNA Test' to ascertain who the biological father of the child is.
