Hi,

Major blood groups are of 4 types. A, B, AB and O groups. Rh factor in addition to it can be +ve or -ve.

It is advisable to marry a person any blood group A, B, AB or O irrespective of your blood group. But one needs to be careful with the Rh factor. If yours is positive, then you need to marry girl with same Rh +ve blood group.

Otherwise, it would lead to Rh factor incompatibility and would result in stillbirth. It might not affect 1st pregnancy, but will affect subsequent pregnancies. However, this can be overcome by injecting antibodies, but would carry a risk.

Hence, it would be preferable for you to marry any blood group with +ve as yours as stated to be O +ve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
