How Does Stage 4 PCA Needs To Be Treated?

Just had a bone scan - activiity in tne region of the xiphoid process of the sternum and within multiple left sided ribs
I have been diagnose with stage 4 PCA. My prostate has been radiated and is clear psa is 77 and climbing was 2.0 in 2/11 now 9/11 77 no other involvement to be seen want to start me on provenge treatments

Thanks for your question on HCM. Prostate malignancy is known to have bone metastasis and bone mets frim prostate are osteoblastic in nature. And these are easily picked by bone scan. They are more common in flat bones like ribs, scapula, sternum, clavicle etc. The best treatment forbone mets is radiotherapy and good painkillers. So consult your oncologist for this.
