How Does One Prevent Heart Attacks From Recurring?

i sufferd a heart attack 6 months ago at only 30 yrs old. i've always been normal weight , no history of hypertension or high chol, but smoked and drunk alcohol alot. i've managed to quit smoking and reduce alcohol. i'm so depresed and sad lately and causing alot of argument and fighing with my wife. sometimes i feel a discormfort in my heart and tinglish after the arguments..i'm so worried about another heart attack..what should i do and i long can someone live with this condition

The well recognized preventive measures to prevent recurrence of heart attack include cessation of smoking, maintenance of optimal body weight/ cholesterol/ blood pressure/ diabetes, regular supervised exercise and avoiding all kind of psychosocial stress. You must also take all your medicine regularly.
