How Does A Bad Gallbladder Affect Digestive Health?

What are the symptoms of problems with your gall bladder? I ve been having stomach/digestive problems for a couple of weeks now. Just back from a bus trip to Michigan and eating was not the highlight of the trip - also, buffets of low cost foods. Some didn t agree with me. Thank you.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Yes gall bladder is an important organ which stores bile ( digestive juice produced by liver). So when some stones becomes in gall bladder, Digestion is affected. Symptoms can include stomach pain, burping, diarrhea, nausea, and indigestion. Sharp stomach pain can be felt after eating food. If you have gall bladder stones, symptoms can be reduced by reducing intake of fats in your diet.

If you don't have previous history of gall stones, you need not to worry as your symptoms may be related to food poisoning or unhealthy food eaten in your trip.

If problem persist, visit a gastro-enterologist

Hope this information helps
