General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to an infected callus. Some symptoms of the infection are a pain, swelling, redness, and local warmth. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest to maintain the area clean and cover it with antibiotic creams. If the symptoms continue, I suggest seeing a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
