Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Do I Know That The Actual Penetration Occurred During Sex?
Okay so I know this may sound like a dumb question but my bf and I were engaging in sexual activity. He fingered me, but he said that was all he did. I m concerned that maybe penetration couldve happened but he said I would have known if I lost my virginity. How can I tell if penetration occurred or not?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you are worried whether your boyfriend penetrated you during your recent sexual encounter. Now, with the limited information that you have provided, there is no objective way of determining whether penertation occured or not.
Hymen rupture can occur even with insertion of fingers into the vagina. So, it may not be necessary for penile penetration to occur in order to 'lose your virginity'. Please remember to always practice safe sex.
Wish you all the best.
