How Could Severe Sweating, Diarrhea, Numbness And Cold Be Treated?

Hi! My roommate has terrible NVD, is sweating a lot, and has told me she is experiencing high pitched ringing in her ears intermittantly, and is going "numb and tingly" while she is vommitting and having diarrhea. I am not there in person, so I cannot assess her in person. She is having cold sweats and hot flashes as well. She has had these symptoms for the last 4-5 hrs. I'm trying to determine if she may need to visit an ER, because she sounds pretty dehydrated and the numbness is worrisome.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is good to advise her to go to ER as soon as possible as she might need further evaluation and medical attention. The symptoms she is having are referring to viral infection complicated with gastroenteritis.

Once again, ask her to go to ER as soon as possible.
Wish her fast recovery!
