How Could Heart Attack From Type 1 LAD Effect Life Expectancy?

I had a heart attack at age 39 from untreated type 1 LAD. ( I did not know I had type 1, and suffered from DKA)
I am now over 40 and I am doing well. My BGL is under control for the most part, and I try to keep active.
How will this impact my life expectancy?

Hi,it depend on several factors, how good you maintain your blood glucose lavels, and how regular on you medication
It will also depend on your dietry habits and your exercise schedules.have a healthy diet with 45 min of exercise 5 days a week and be regular with your insulin you can lead a normal life. Will be a great help if you consult your physician atleast once a mounth for dose adjustment of medications.
