How Can Yeast Infection In The Genital Area Be Treated?
I was treated (last week) with heavy duty antibiotics for an unknown infection either related to , or caused by, pleural effusion. (Still on one after release from hospital. Now it feels like I have a yeast infection in my genital areas. Can I treat it with over-the-counter cream?

Wash and dry the affected area with a clean towel. Apply the anti fungal cream and powder. One of over the counter available anti fungals are fluconazole. Apply fluconazole ointment twice daily over the effected area and take tablet terbinafine. Keep the area dry. Use fluconazole powder over the area clean the are near genitals daily.
