Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM
Tanning seems to be the main concern in your case. I would advice that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen, which offers protection against both UVA and UVB throughout the day.
Apart from this various sun protective measures like avoiding outdoor activities between 10 AM to 3 Pm when sun is the strongest.
If i was your treating doctor i would have asked you to apply a cream containing one or more of the following ingredients at night: Kojic acid,
glycolic acid,
hydroquinone, arbutin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, liquorice extract etc to fade away the tan gradually.
Coming to the
white spots on your back and arms, i would keep a possibility of Pityriasis versicolor leading on to hypopigmented patches. I treat my patients of Pityriasis versicolor with a single dose of oral
fluconazole 400mg which is usually sufficient.
Hypopigmentation takes some time to resolve and sun-exposure for 15 minutes daily after adequate anti-fungal treatment, will help to regain pigment.
take care
