How Can Walking, Balance And Other Developmental Problems Be Treated?

Hi Doctors, My nephew is 3 years old and he was immature born. He is not able to walk. If he tries to walk, he walks on his toes unbalanced. Also, he started to sit very late near about his 2nd year. We have seen many pediatricians and they did not get any problems. We are very worried about him. Can you please suggest me what we should do for him. Thanks Anuj Kumar

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
In my opinion your nephew seems to have tendo achilles spasticity. Due to this he has toe walking and balance issues. I would suggest you start physiotherapy for him. If he does not improve with that then local botox injections is another option.
I hope I have helped you
Thank you
