How Can Vertigo Be Treated While Suffering From A Brain Tumor?

I have been thur the all encompassing testing of vertigo for the ears and balancing. I have been told I have a brain tumor. I have been having migraines 18 to 20 days a month for about the last 2 years. I also had a major brain injury in 1990. Is any of this going to help me get better????

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Vertigo in brain tumor may be due to edema of the brain. The tumor or increased intracranial pressure may lead to vertigo and dizziness.

It may be treated with steroids and benzodiazepines. Use tablet Vertin for five days.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your neuro physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
