How Can Vaginal Yeast Infection Be Treated?

Hello I have had a yeast infection for about a month. I have seen my Dr. and she( without exam) said to take Diflucan I did take a home test that showed low pH. The day after the dose I noticed increases discharge and decreases itching. Now it have the same symptoms itching, burning and discharge. I was wondering if I could take another pill or start an internal course? I am still using the external cream daily I took the last dose 7 days ago. thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is not confirm the diagnosis then it can be given try with broad spectrum cream like "Povidone Iodine" it will covers all the organism which causes the symptoms and better to keep this using for long time, vaginal suppository can be used instead of this hope this information helps.
