Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that if you have pain in a single tooth then it can be probably due to either deep decay in tooth while it can also be due to Cracked tooth syndrome that causes fine cracks in the tooth..

Crack in tooth can at times be very fine and at times can be missed in x ray..
I would suggest you to consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray that will be taken from different angulations will be done to rule out the cause and treatment will be done accordingly..

You can be advised root canal treatment of the tooth followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers to relieve pain and save the tooth..
It will be followed by capping of the tooth..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
